I dig E-Sessions. I really do.
It gives me a chance to get to know the couple and a chance for them to see how I perform and how we will interact with each other. It also lets me get to know what they really like in a photograph. It is just an all around great time!
It allows for any defenses they may have to come down and get comfortable with me. That is THE most important part of the session. To get past the shooter/subject phase and slide into the friend trusting a friend phase.
It was a little easier with Sara and Logan because I photographed Sara’s senior pictures and those went over pretty darn well! ANd there is really no better feeling to get a call from a former Senior Portrait client and have them ask to photograph their wedding day. THAT is just, well, just damn cool! I cannot wait for the wedding. A little under four weeks left!

Really really cool couple here. This is actually the first part of their E-session. The second part of the session is going to take place inside and in front of The Guthrie Theatre. It is a perfectly cool movie theatre in town. It has the look and feel of an older theater because it is an older, nostalgic movie theatre. The family has done a great job of updating the building with out taking away from the feel of your hometown movie theatre. I cannot wait for part two next week! But, part one was great!
